iPad games for cats...

An iPad game designed for cats... just don't scratch it pleeeaase!

Walk on the right please...

Using technology and the human eye to organise the disorganised... great stuff.

So you think you're 18?

We think this is an especially brilliant way around the crap 'Enter your date of birth' to access certain sites, which - let's face it - won't deter anyone over 5 who can do a little basic arithmetic.

I want that pickle...

Nicole Gastonguay is a fiber artist living in New York City (I want to be a fiber artist living in New York City) and these are a few of her fuzzy creations. Aren't they wondrous?

Thanks for the reminder Dulux...

There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road, that's where I'll always be.
Every stop I make, I make a new friend,
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Down this road that never seems to end,
Where new adventure lies just around the bend.
So if you want to join me for a while,
Just grab your hat, come travel light, that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow I'll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.

So if you want to join me for a while,
Just grab your hat, come travel light, that's hobo style

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

There's a world that's waiting to unfold,
A brand new tale no-one has ever told.
We've journeyed far far and know it wont be long;
We're almost there, and we've paid our fare with our hobo song.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

So if you want to join me for a while,
Just grab your hat, come travel light, that's hobo style.

Maybe tomorrow, I'll find what I call home, Until tomorrow, you know I'm free

Where's your Sparkle and Spin?

Call me nostalgic but vintage children's books have always held a special magic and charm for me, taking me back to my own childhood spent immersed in beautifully-illustrated books (which were the norm rather than the an exceptional award winner like these days.)

Ann and Paul Rand's "Sparkle and Spin" is bold and eye-catching, different from the highly detailed illustrations I was used to. Still, I would have loved this. It's from 1957 yet it's timelessly wonderful, like all the best children's books.

Sneakerpedia by Footlocker

Cool idea for Footlocker ('enthusiasm beyond reason') from Sapient Nitro. Boys love sneakers to the point of obsession, and the Sneakerpedia taps into that collective consciousness of geekdom. Details of trainers are uploaded, complete with pics of the shoes in their original boxes, and tagged according to brand, colour, material and year. Now sneakerheads can show off their precious collections to the world.

Tube twat #4...

Read this.

Moving, graphic, darkly funny, Samantha Kittle's blog is the story, not of an illness, but of a woman who refuses to be defined by one.

Nice video

Man records him self every year for 35 years

"Sam Klemke growing younger with every frame. Time-lapse over 35 years, from a bearded middle-aged man in 2011, to a clean shaven 20-year-old in 1977"

Ever wondered what it was like to fall down a mountain...

Well wonder no more!

Google Chrome music video...

Really nice idea, not sure on the tech details but if i had to guess i would say there is a hefty computer city living up in the clouds driving this one. The ending is ace!

You have to open with Chrome, those crafty buggars.

For some reason we haven't been able to log in to our blog account for the past two weeks... but what ever it was stopping us seems to have been barged out the way.
